The Aims and Objectives of the Service

Supporting young people to gain independence skills and make healthy choices.

The safety and security of our young people is our priority hence we ensure that our staff members are carefully selected and Enhanced disclosure & Barring checks completed. In addition, all our placements are fitted with 24-hour CCTV monitoring systems.

To empower young people placed in our care with the necessary skills which will enable them to develop knowledge and confidence to enable them to transition into independent living.

We draw on relationship base approaches, whereby we work with our young people to build rapport and develop trust. This will then enable our young people who may have a history of traumatic experiences to seek help and support when they need it.

We work closely with essential services providers such as medical, schools, colleges etc. to ensure that the needs of young people in our care are met holistically.

We aim to work with social workers and other professionals involved in the lives of the care of the young people to ensure seamless care delivery inline with the care & support plans.

We ensure that progress reports are shared with the prospective professional.

Be Better support services Ltd provides semi-independent accommodation both short- and long-term to looked after children and young people who are aged 16-24 years.
The underpinning principle of Be better care service is that our young people are experts of their lives hence we work collaboratively with each one of them to ensure their full participation on their journey toward their healthy, positive and independent living.
